Spring is here. Finally! Even though we can’t quite leave the house without a light jacket, there are still ways to up your style game without buying a brand new wardrobe.
If you’ve been favoring the all black everything look for far too long, consider stepping out of your comfort zone with brown. Adding brown boots to your in-between seasons outfit will make you feel as if you’re wearing new clothes.
If it’s been awhile since you’ve worn brown, below are two outfit ideas that are perfect for early spring:
1. Polka Dots
Polka dots can feel a bit out of place during the colder months, but now’s the time to embrace them. I wore this outfit to Sunday brunch with friends. The navy polka dot skirt is very versatile and it pairs well with neutrals.
My heeled brown boots from Cherry Footwear were only $20 and they’re extremely comfortable.

In honor of Coachella, I had to bring out the kimono. I’m still not 100% ready to dive head-first into bright colors, so I went with a black and white kimono instead of something colorful. I then wore it over a simple LBD from Target. The brown boots make the look stand out; I then accessorized with a hat and a long necklace.
