  1. Always Protect Your Hair From The Elements

  1. Avoid Washing Your Hair Daily

Shampooing your hair on a daily basis is not a good idea. You may feel that you are doing the right thing but you are stripping it of its natural oils and rendering it dry. The best thing to do is to limit the times you wash your hair to only two or three times a week.

A moisturizing conditioner after each wash could be the difference between frizzy, and silky smooth hair.

  1. Avoid Excessive Heat on Your Hair

Heat can damage your hair and even though it may be safe to do it sometimes. Try not to overdo it as heat not only strips the moisture content in your hair, but there’s always a possibility of burning it.

Oiling your scalp is good for you to do it as often as you can but don’t over do it because you’ll need more shampoo to get rid of it. A healthy scalp is essential for healthy hair so take good care of it.

  1. Brush and Blow Dry Effectively

Brushing can either add the luster to your hair or damage it, depending on how effectively you do it. Brushing spreads your natural hair oils throughout the full strands, making it look great.
