I've been undergoing some changes in my life this past year, especially in the way I view myself. My self-esteem has suffered my entire life. Some of it was because I didn't surround myself with the right people, but most of it was me being mean and harsh to myself—I was the problem. ⠀ ⠀ I heard a saying a few years back: "Your 20's are for learning, your 30's are for living." ⠀ ⠀ When I first heard it, I did an eye roll. Like really? We're always living! But now that I'm 32, all I can say is
I spent the past few days in the desert and it was unreal. To be honest, I don't really even have the words to describe the amazing experience I had. It was a last minute trip my roommate and I decided to take together along with a few friends. I'm so glad and beyond thankful that I had the experience I did. I needed that. The desert is a very special place, ya’ll.
