Mandee is a store I fell in love with a few years back on a trip to Philadelphia. It’s a great place to go if you find yourself needing something to wear to a party or club. Go there for some flashy jewelry or some sexy shoes! They have stores in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, New Jersey, Delaware, and Florida. If you don’t live near one, don’t worry, just order on-line!

Retrospect is an amazing vintage store we stumbled upon while walking down South Street. They had the most amazing collection of 80′s prom dresses, boots, oxfords, coats, and home decor from every decade. There was a mix of cheap and expensive but if you’re ever in the area definitely check it out.

PHILADELPHIA is a beautiful city with a lot of charm. It has some great colleges including Temple and The University of the Arts so there are tons of fashionable students all over the place.

We went in June and they were having their annual Fine Art Show in Rittenhouse Square in Center City,  which was a nice free activity to enjoy.  On day two we took advantage of the ‘pay as you wish’ museums.  And day three was filled with delicious cheap food and window shopping. We stayed with family, but check out some hostels on yelp if you’re not as lucky.
