Three Surprising Uses for White Vinegar

Vinegar isn’t just for cooking. Though it might seem like any old product that sits in the back of your kitchen cabinet, there are actually a few surprising uses for vinegar that you wouldn’t expect.

All you’ll need is a small spray bottle filled with white vinegar.

1. Have product buildup?

If you just got out of the pool, or have been using a lot of product, you might really need a good clarifying shampoo to remove buildup and start your day with fresh, clean hair. But, if you don’t have the time or the money to buy a special clarifying shampoo, all you have to do is spray your dry hair with vinegar before getting in the shower. Just shampoo and condition as usual.

2. Have a sunburn?

As we should all know by now, tanning is a big no-no when it comes to healthy skin. But, if you do have a mishap with a tanning bed, all you have to do is spray some white vinegar on your burn to cool and soothe, while restoring the lost acidic level to your skin.

3. Have dirty windows?

Run out of Windex? Just spray your window or mirror with white vinegar and wipe. Since vinegar is acidic, it’ll dissolve the buildup on your mirrors and windows without streaking. It also has strong antibacterial properties!
