After months of darkness and cold, Spring 2020 is coming in with a vengeance of sunshine. Bold patterns, bright colors along with earthy hues are all on the forefront this season.

Florals
Florals are back and the flowers are bigger than ever. Flirty dresses, silky kimonos, and even head-to-toe floral pantsuits are all in for this spring. Don’t be intimidated by these big prints because, in all truth, florals are one of the more forgiving prints to pull off as long as you’re not dressing in a Hawaiian-print button-down to a black-tie-affair.

Tie-Dye
Steer away from the “hippie” brand of tie-dye, but it’s not too far off-brand. The whacky and lively patterns from the 60s are a reminder of a care-free, spirited time and those times are running back. Today’s tie dye clothing has stark separate shades and will be on shirts, blazers, jumpsuits, and dresses which are available online.
You may have some tie-dye saved up from those years at summer camp when you were younger, but if not, you can get adventurous and buy a kit at a local craft store and some life to some of your white basics.
Earthy Neutrals
A major trend this spring is neutrals. Shades of beige, monochrome or whatever you want to call camel is on and off the runway. The key to this trend is to mix it up with different textures, shades, and proportions to create an effortlessly chic ensemble.
A tip is to find a camel jacket. It is a miracle color that looks expensive but can be found for very affordable prices.
Knit Dresses
The striped knit dress is a great transitional piece to wear from winter to spring. A denim jacket can be thrown over the top on chilly days and a dress can go from work to night with the simple switch of heels to sandals.
Bermuda Shorts
First, it was biker shorts, but now things are getting longer and it is time for Bermuda shorts. From leather to silk to denim and styled with everything from blazers, tees, and blouses, these mid-length beauties add some sophistication to any warm-weather outfit.
