If you’re an avid concert-goer, finding a way to purchase tickets for less money might be of great importance to you. The less you can pay per ticket, the more extra change that gives you for future shows. So how can you get those cheaper seats?

- Grab A Seat In The Back
Life is all about compromises. You won’t always be able to enjoy everything that you’ve possibly wanted every time an artist rolls into your town. Of course, you would probably have the most memorable experience smack dab in the front row, but those tickets are enormously expensive for a reason.
At the end of the day though, isn’t the main attraction that you’re there for the music itself? This music can be enjoyed just as well in the far left balcony seat as it can in the front row.
These far back seats can be far, far cheaper than those closer to the stage. At many venues, they are a fraction of the price. If you’re at a venue big enough to make this seating feel really distant, the venue will probably have live video screens up. That way you won’t really be missing anything at all.

Sometimes we make assumptions that aren’t true. It’s easy to think that the price of a concert in your town is the same as it is anywhere else. But this is just fundamentally untrue.

Concert bookers know that big cities mean more competition for tickets, so they can increase ticket prices as a result. If you want to save some money seeing these big acts, consider getting a ticket for their weeknight shows. Because people have work during the day, many will opt instead for the weekend ticket. Competition will thus be for these weeknight shows, and prices may be slightly lower.

It’s no fun to be unsure if you’re going to be able to see your favorite artist live. However, if you wait until a bit later in the concert sale process, you might be able to see them live for a discounted price.
This is because as a show approaches, many tickets begin to appear on resale sites. People who bought seats and can’t attend will try and get rid of their tickets for a discounted price.
If you do go this route, you need to make sure you’re buying from a reputable seller. Many of these reselling sites are certified, and ensure those that use their platform that their tickets will be genuine. Make sure that is the case with the reseller you are planning on using, or you might end up shelling out for fake tickets!

It can nerve-racking not buying your concert tickets right away. But if you don’t mind if you miss a show, or if you don’t think it will sell out, waiting can be advantageous.
Often, ticket prices will fall the closer the date gets to the night of a performance. This is because the concert venue in question will be getting nervous that they won’t sell all of the seats. They would rather sell seats at a discount than not sell them at all. That means, more often than not, these ticket prices will fall.
This can be risky because venues of a smaller size might never reach this point. They often will just sell out, especially if demand is large for a specific artist.
