Ever feel like life is just passing you by? If life feels like work, sleep, eat, repeat then there are ways you can break the cycle and do more. Below are five ways you can hit reset so you can fulfill your potential and live life to the fullest in 2017 (and beyond):
Study
Just because you’ve finished formal education doesn’t mean you should stop learning. There’s so much out there to learn and understand, so be curious. To start, follow your interests and passions and learn more about them. You could embark on an online study program such as those run by Our Lady of the Lake College. You could read books and articles, or take an evening class. I personally took a 3-month digital marketing course two summer’s ago at General Assembly in NYC. Worth it!
Travel
Travel allows you to explore different cultures, see incredible things and opens your mind in a way like no other. It’s one of the most fulfilling and exciting things you can do in life, so if you get the opportunity then grab it with both hands. I’m not just talking about visiting grand hotels and dining in five-star restaurants (although these are amazing experiences in themselves). Travel some of the less trodden paths, mix with the locals, enjoy the cuisine of the region and get around using public transport. These experiences allow you to submerge yourself fully in a destination.

Socialize
Meeting new people is an excellent way to gain a new perspective on things. Speak to people who are older than you, younger than you. From different countries, with different backgrounds. This is how you truly grow as a person. Both study and travel will expose you to new people, and with the internet being so readily available, it’s easy to speak to people this way too.
Rather than shy away from the opportunities to mix and interact with new people, push yourself out of your comfort zone. In years to come you will be so glad you did.
Volunteer
There are few things more rewarding that you can do with your time than volunteering. Helping others, whether it be people, animals or the environment can make a genuine difference. You could see what volunteering programs are available in your area and give an hour or two of your time every week helping out.
Live Healthily
Living in a healthy, wholesome way will keep your body and mind both be at their best. A balanced diet with plenty of fresh produce, whole grains, and lean protein. Enough exercise, a good amount of sleep each night and lots of water will keep your body running like a finely tuned machine.
When you live well, you avoid all kinds of preventable health issues, and your health is much less likely to hold you back.
