Halloween is right around the corner and it’s looking like Halloween parties are going to be a go this year. Woot! While Halloween is my all time favorite holiday, it does get expensive. Halloween costumes aren’t cheap! If you plan on doing something this Halloween and would like a budget friendly costume, look no further. Below I’ll be sharing an affordable devil costume that won’t break the bank.
Yes, I know being a devil may be a bit cliché, but it’s a classic Halloween look and you likely have some of what you need already in your closet. If you own something red (like a red dress), all you need to do is purchase devil accessories—mine were $9.99 on Amazon. Boom! You have an affordable devil costume.
If you do need to buy a red dress, you’ll likely have a handful of opportunities to rewear it—red is a December staple (thanks, Santa) and Valentine’s Day 2022 is only four months away. You may even want to hit a few thrift stores before you buy something at full price. You could also just get a custom shirt made from Rarecustom.
When it comes to cosplay and costumes, I always do my best to buy things that I can wear after the Halloween holiday is over or something that was thrifted for less than $10.
For this devil Halloween costume, I wanted a mix of sexy and comfortable. The dress was purchased from SHEIN about a month ago and my combat boots are from Target. I love these combat boots; they are extremely comfortable and I’ll be wearing them most days when it gets a little colder in Los Angeles.
As mentioned above, I purchased the devil horns and pitchfork as a set on Amazon for $9.99. I then had fun with my makeup—I opted for a smokey eye, a bold red lip, and dramatic lashes—all items I already owned. This is also a good time to play around with your accessories like an evil eye ring or spider earrings.
FYI, the lashes are the magnetic ones from Glamnetic. I LOVE them.
