Actually Enjoy Your Morning Commute with Senso Electronics

If you’re a city dweller that relies on public transportation to get to work, you know how important your headphones can be. A subway, bus, or tram ride with no music, audio books, or podcasts, is not a fun time at all. While dealing with traffic can be a huge pain depending on where you live, you at least have access to a phone charger and AUX cord for some tunes. If all else fails, the car radio is there for you.

I used to live in New York City, so I relied on the subway day in, and day out for nine years. I loved living in NYC ( I now call Los Angeles home), but I’m not going to lie, that commute would drag sometimes and headphones or a good book were what made it bearable. Now let’s talk about headphones…

One of my biggest annoyances is untangling headphones. It’s the worst. I hate it. I feel I have spent hours (if not days) of my life doing just that. I remember untangling my bulky headphones on the school bus as a kid in the 90’s, and then the iPod came out and Apple’s white headphones became a household staple…those are the headphones I get anxiety just thinking about…it’s like they were made to get tangled. It doesn’t matter how carefully you put them away…they will find a way to irritate you when you’re ready to use them again. Then came their game changer product—Airpods. But Apple being Apple made them not very accessible to the masses. Even today, Apple’s Airpods go for $129-$249 depending on what generation you purchase. Want to know what’s more frustrating than untangling headphones? Losing something you spent over $100 on.

Over the years I have purchased many cordless headphones on the cheap and I’ve always been disappointed. The sound quality is either not great, or they are flimsy and only last a month before falling a part. Then I was introduced to SENSO Electronics

I was first introduced to SENSO last year with their SENSO Pods which look and feel just like the Apple ones at a price point that will blow your mind—$24.99. No, that was not a typo. At this point, I’ve had them for over a year and they are still going strong. The sound quality is excellent and they work perfectly for all my needs—my runs, my Peloton workouts, and those times I take the metro to Pasadena to get some work done at one of my favorite coffee shops.

SENSO recently came out with a new generation called SENSO Orbits, and they do not disappoint. Unlike the generation before, these have sound cancelling capabilities making them perfect for important phone calls and Zoom meetings—and they are only $29.99 (also not a typo).

I truly love them and know they will last and be just as good to me as the other SENSO headphones I have. I use my SENSO Orbits when I’m out and about or exercising outside, while my “old” SENSO Pods live next to my Peloton.
