Halloween is right around the corner! Since Halloween lands on a Thursday this year, you have a few party options. Some will choose to go to Halloween parties the weekend before (the 25th and 26th), while some may choose to party the weekend after, November 1st and 2nd.
If you want to celebrate Halloween and go all out with your Halloween costume the weekend before, you really don’t have that much time to prepare. If you’re trying to figure out who (or what) to be for Halloween this year and you know you don’t want to spend a fortune, consider going as Alice from Alice in Wonderland.
As you may already know, Halloween is my all-time favorite holiday. However, I really despise spending a fortune on a costume that is only going to be worn once. To prevent any overspending on my Halloween costumes, I tend to take matters into my own hands. If I need to purchase something, I try and buy things that I know I can wear after Halloween is over. Blue Fit and Flare Dress
If you don’t own a blue fit and flare dress, you can find affordable ones on sites like Amazon and Boohoo. I purchased mine from Boohoo for only $11.50. The best part? I was able to wear it again after Halloween. It’s a really cute dress!
Retro Apron
I found my retro apron on Amazon for only $14. You can either save it for another costume in the future, or you can actually use it for cooking.
Big Bow
I already had a bright red bow from my Kiki’s Delivery Service costume, so I just used that. However a big black bow would be more Disney Alice.
Mary Jane Shoes
I already had a pair of black mary jane shoes, but they are an easy find at thrift stores and buy/sell/trade stores.
White or Nude Tights
White is more Disney while nude is more modern, this is a personal choice.
Since Halloween is so close, I recommend you order these items from Amazon. You’ll receive your items in a more timely manner.
