We tend to think of entrepreneurs as people who sit alone in their basement, trying to come up with the next genius idea. But actually, this is not the case. Entrepreneurs are all about other people. And in the process of developing their business, they’ll be interacting with a number of people. Suppliers, clients, other companies they work with, and so on.

The role of human resources is often underrated by people on the outside of the business world. The people on the inside know just how important it is. This is the integral link between employees and the people in charge. When a company reaches a certain size, there’s usually a disconnect between the owner and the staff. Finally, what about running a store or a cafe? A lot of the world has moved into a digital space, but there’s still much to be said for public life. If you’re a people-person, then it makes sense to put yourself where the people are!
Running a store or a cafe is, of course, challenging, but it can also be highly satisfying — and puts you into contact with a lot of new people, every day!
