Thrifting is hands down one of my favorite things to do. You can find me in a thrift store or at a flea market at least once a week, and I don’t only thrift for clothes. Thrifting for clothes is how I fell in love with thrifting all those years ago, but thrifting for furniture, home goods, and books are also a weekly must for me. To save money, yes, but thrifting has helped me curate a wardrobe and a home decor style that is truly my own. I’m always getting compliments from friends when they visit my place due to all my retro mugs and decor trinkets.
My all time favorite thrift store? Savers. Savers always has the best jeans, dresses, furniture, books, and home decor finds—especially around the holiday season. Each December, you can find an entire section dedicated to Christmas sweaters—from elegant ones to silly ones, so you can finally win that office Ugly Christmas Sweater contest without breaking the bank. I also tend to rely on Savers to find the perfect holiday decor items—20% of our Christmas ornaments this year are Savers thrift finds. Is your home and wardrobe Christmas ready?
