Drew Barrymore’s Makeup Line is Life Changing

I’ve recently been given the opportunity to try Flower — Drew Barrymore’s new makeup line that’s available at Walmart. Two words…life changing!

With most budget brands, I’m skeptical. I’ve tried more bad than good and find myself sticking to my favorites; elf and L’Oreal. Now I can happily add another budget brand to my favorites list!

Not only do I like the makeup; it goes on smooth, it lasts a long time and the packaging is gorgeous, but the philosophy behind the company is absolutely wonderful — that consumers can enjoy high-quality makeup products at drugstore prices.

Since they don’t put money into advertising like most brands, they’re able to use the same ingredients used in luxury makeup. Another admirable aspect to the brand is they never test on animals and all the products are made in the USA.

Below is my take on each of the products I used:

 Lipstick

It went on smooth and it lasted for hours! I’m wearing the velvet lip color in Tender Tuberose. It’s the perfect color for everyday wear since warm pink makes you look younger and it brightens up your face.

Blush

I’m wearing the cream blush in Primrose & Proper. I applied it to my cheeks right after my foundation and then set it with powder.

Mascara

I used the volumizing mascara in Intense Black. I loved it! It’s the perfect day mascara. Since I’m a fan of a more dramatic lash, next time I’m going to try the Zoom-In Ultimate Mascara. The brush on that one is actually customizable.

Cream Eyeshadow

I applied the cream shadow in Cocoa Camelia on top of my gold eyeshadow from Urban Decay. It didn’t crease and it lasted all day.

I definitely recommend you give Flower a try. Kudos to you Drew!
