Sometimes you can be a hair “model” or part of a class at a lot of salons out there. You can usually find these offers on Craigslist.
Warning: Hair models are used to explore specific styles, so you can’t always choose what you want! This is not for simple, long layered cuts!
This girl was one of my free services while I was apprenticing back in Richmond VA. She went from a dark brown to a beautiful platinum blond for free (haircut included)! That’s usually a $300 service!
PS: Even if it’s free you should still tip 15-20% of what the service usually costs.
