My boyfriend and I just moved to NYC from Richmond VA last month. We traded our beautiful apartment for a small studio with no bathroom (it’s shared in the hall like a dorm) and no kitchen just a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine for $300 more. That being said I had to make the best of it. I used a lot of the decor from the old apartment.
