We’re always excited about new products and new brands. Now that it’s finally May, we’re replacing our winter favorites with products that are more appropriate for warm(er) weather. After all, we do have to get our skin and hair in tip-top shape for bathing suit season!
Below are the 10 products we’re currently obsessed with that will amp up your look for spring, summer and beyond.
1. Eva-NYC Texture Spray
Love sporting beach waves? Then this product will be your new bestie! Spray it between your layers for volume and texture, or use it as a primer before you curl your hair.
2. Suave Dry Shampoo
Tired of spending $15+ on dry shampoo? This dry shampoo from Suave is under $3 and works just as well as the more expensive brands.
3. Cattiva Bronzer + Highlighter Duo
Just learning how to highlight and contour your face? Let this product be your guide! It’s extremely easy to use, and will work well with most light and medium skin tones. This duo is on the pricey side, but well worth the expense since it will last you for well over a year.
Not a fan of highlighters? You can get a bronzer + blush duo instead!
4. Laura Mercier Radiance Primer
Worn under foundation, this pearl tinted primer creates a smooth, flawless canvas. It’ll also give your skin a soft focus effect to minimize imperfections. It’s also a great addition to your morning routine if you’re trying to achieve a dewy look.
5. Secret Weapon Anti-Aging Serum
This oil based serum from Beauty Busters is a new favorite. It’s all-natural, smells phenomenal, and 10% of all proceeds go towards helping military families and soldiers serving overseas.
Apply it at night before or in place of your moisturizer to combat the signs of aging, minimize fine lines and hydrate the skin.
Ingredients: Meadowfoam, Macadamia Nut Oil, Apricot Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Rose & Sandalwood Essential Oils.
6. Maybelline Shine-Free Foundation Stick
Why has it taken me so long to try this? It’s so easy to apply (way easier than BB cream if you ask me) and it’s extremely easy to travel with. Since it’s shine free, you don’t even need powder to set it.
7. Marc Jacobs Gel Eyeliner
This retractable gel liner is so good that it’s actually difficult to remove at the end of the day. Even with waterproof eye makeup remover! Since it lasts all day and then some, it’s totally worth the price.
8. Merlot Hydrating Toner
Do most alcohol-based toners irritate your sensitive skin? If so, consider trying out an alcohol-free toner. This one from Merlot is my favorite! It smells great and it’s extremely gentle. Saturate a cotton pad and apply to your face after cleansing.
9. Hamadi Shea Spray
Do you have fine hair that tends to get frizzy when the weather warms up? If so, you’ll love this shea spray. It’s extremely light so it won’t weigh your hair down. Spray onto clean, wet hair, and blow-dry to eliminate frizz, or spray onto dry hair for a quick fix and extra shine.
10. BioElixia Body Shaper
Over 70 percent of women are affected by cellulite, mainly on the upper legs, butt and stomach. It can also sneak on to the arms and torso too. If you have it, but hate it, this anti-cellulite cream will really help!
