Shop These Budget Friendly Amazon Swimsuits—All Under $40!

I’ve always hated swimsuit shopping—as a 5’2″ size 12 gal with DD’s and a short torso, I’ve always struggled finding the one. I’d spend hours in one store trying on all the swimsuits just to leave disappointed and empty handed—then I had to do it again somewhere else. Ordering a swimsuit online? Ha! Then the COVID-19 Pandemic hit and shopping in-stores was a no-no for a solid year. The summer of 2020 was a scorcher, Los Angeles experienced record breaking temps, so not finding a swimsuit was out of the question, so I had to learn how to shop online. Now ordering a swimsuit online is a no brainer. As long as I measure myself using the brand’s size chart and I read the reviews, I usually end up satisfied with my purchase.

The pandemic is a distant memory these days, but I still order swimsuits online. In fact, I prefer it. My go-to spots are Amazon, SheIn, and Target—all three have pretty solid review sections that include photos of other customers.

If you are on the hunt for a new swimsuit, check out some of my favorite budget-friendly Amazon finds over the years—all under $40

My Favorite Budget Friendly Swimsuit Finds from Amazon

Black High-Waisted Bikini

I’ve had this swimsuit for three years and I still love it. The straps are removable and I find it to be very flattering. I featured it on a post a couple of years ago when I teamed up with Rellery. See more photos of this suit in action here.

Ditsy Floral High-Waisted Bikini

I love this swimsuit and it was actually the first bathing suit I purchased online with success. I still wear it on occasion. I’m wearing an XL in the photo below:

Black One-Piece from Cupshe

Cupshe is my go-to brand when I need a new swimsuit fast. I’ve purchased two from this brand and I’ve been happy with both. It’s simple, it’s cheap, and it never goes out of style. The mesh cut-outs give it a fun vibe, so it’s not just another boring black swimsuit. I highly recommend it—especially if you’re busty like me.

The Cupshe brand can also be found at Target.

Burnt Orange One-Piece from Cupshe

Here is the other Cupshe swimsuit I purchased that got a lot of wears—especially last summer. Unfortunately the exact one I purchased is no longer available, but I included a similar style from the same brand below. Wearing an XL in the photos below:

Retro Style One-piece

I love this swimsuit! But unfortunately it’s no longer available.

Red One-Piece

You can never go wrong with a red one-piece bathing suit. Baywatch vibes anyone? The one I’m wearing below is from Shein—I purchased it back in 2021 for about $15. It’s a great suit that I still wear to this day. I included some similar ones below since the exact one I’m wearing below is not longer available.
