⁣After two full years of working from home and being sedentary, things are starting to change. Some of these things are good—a more vibrant social life for one. However, there are aspects of pre-2020 life creeping back that may not be good. Such as the glorification of busyness.⠀ ⠀ Sometimes we can't prevent our busyness—bills need to be paid. However it's important to practice self-care, and one aspect of self-care is making sure we are treating our bodies with kindness. That could be a 5 min meditation each day, a yoga class after work, or even a multivitamin each day

⁣I'm still trying to settle into 2022, ya'll. January sucked. Like really, really, really sucked. Some of it was due to the weather, some of it was due to Mercury Retrograde, and some of it was because I’m still trying to find my footing with Broke & Chic. If you can relate, here’s a last minute costume idea. Not only will it not break the bank, you can find face paint at any CVS or Target…yes, even last minute.
