Lacey Taylor’s journey into fitness has not been an accidental one, it was deeply personal. She wanted to do something that would make her happy and fulfilled, and something she would enjoy doing after her marriage failed.

Going back to work after 13 years as a stay-at-home mom was not easy. She was working with a personal trainer at that time to become fit, physically and mentally. She recalls those dark days and how working out helped her overcome those challenging days. It got her thinking about how much her trainer helped her, and she wanted to reach out to women going through similar challenges, anxiety, divorce, and postpartum depression.

On Hour One Mission – How Intentional Movements Can Change Life

She gives credit to her trainer for how he helped her in many ways to deal with her difficult times without even knowing. Lacey realized that tough workouts trained her mind to stay strong during tough times. She understood that there was a direct connection between pushing herself through those hard workouts and pushing herself through difficult times in life. It was then that the thought of helping other women to do the same thing came to her.

Each one of us is stronger than we think we are, and through our struggles, we become stronger and resilient. Helping others to use their pain and struggles as their power to get stronger and use it as a drive to improve themselves became Lacey’s passion.

Exercise and physical fitness are both very important to Lacey, and she calls them her therapy. She feels she would not have made it this far without her fitness and workout regimes. She coaches other women from an experienced point of view. Women are comfortable with someone who understands and someone who has been there. And Lacey understands the struggles. She knows the excuses and the obstacles.

Strength to Lacey is showing up even when it’s hard. For her, it is not about pushing her body and lifting weights, but about staying grounded and keeping her head up through challenges. Strength for her is also being there for her clients and kids with love and purpose. It is also choosing not to give up when things get tough. Lacey strongly believes that strength is also being fearless and resilient, and being gritty. It is about stability and having the correct form and movement in your body.

Lacey thinks that strong legs, strong arms, and a strong core balance and agility. Keeping all this in mind, she tailors her strength training programs for women who lead busy lives or with high emotional demands. She pushes them for one hour a day with her effective programs.

Her programs are designed in a way to find weaknesses in their bodies, and she makes them stronger, physically and mentally. Lacey is there to support them when the going gets tough, or when they are discouraged or want to give up. She believes hard things make you stronger, and that is the reason why her programs are also hard.

Lacey appreciates women who are committed and ready to put in the work while training. Her ideal client is a woman who wants real and lasting change, and a woman who needs the accountability of a personal trainer. She loves working with women who want to change their bodies.

For Lacey, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing her clients working out and getting stronger, not just physically but mentally too. She looks at the whole process as empowering women.
