I love wearing summer dresses, even just casually on a Tuesday. They are usually light and airy and they are easy to dress up or down. I especially like pairing summer dresses with white sneakers; perfect for staying cool and stylish, while still being comfortable.
This summer I have been coveting puff sleeve smock dresses—specifically this one from Madewell…but it’s $128. Haha, no! While I love Madewell—their jeans are the best—spending that amount of money on a simple sundress just doesn’t work with my budget. Thankfully I found a similar style at a very affordable price and I’m in LOVE!
I found this bright pink puff sleeve dress with a split-hem from SHEIN and not only has it become my favorite SHEIN find, but it has become my favorite summer dress, period. I chose pink since I’m trying to steer away from my usual go-to—black. The color makes me smile and each time I have worn it I have received at least one compliment. I recently went to a live taping of The Kelly Clarkson Show and decided to wear this dress. The staff sat me in the front row simply because I was wearing a bright color. Apparently Kelly likes bright colors…who knew?
The best part about this dress is it was only $22. Since I love this dress so much I intend on buying it in a few more colors—black (duh) and the green one is also catching my eye. I’m still exploring my new home and my boyfriend and I decided to explore Old Town Pasadena for some lunch and some window shopping. Now see this amazing dress in action!
