Who doesn’t like feeling like a princess? I for one will always say yes to a dress that makes me feel like royalty. Not only does this Solado dress make me feel like a princess, the lantern sleeves and bubble hem of this dress really make a statement. The extra fluff and flare make me want to walk my castle grounds in my bare feet on a hot day while I twirl around and day dream.

Thanks to the Y2k revival, the bubble hem trend is back, so get ready to see bubble hem looks on both the bridal runways and ready-to-wear runways for the next few seasons.

If you’re looking for a dress fit for a princess, then look no further than this tie dye lantern sleeve mini dress from Solado. I can see this dress working in a variety of settings—a springtime picnic, an engagement photo session, or even a dinner date.

My husband and I did this shoot at the Pasadena City Hall before the holiday season. If you have never been, I highly recommend you check it out. It’s a stunning piece of architecture that will make you feel like you’re somewhere in Italy instead of LA county. It’s such a beautiful spot that you are likely to see couples getting their engagement photos taken in the late afternoon—which creates a very romantic vibe.

I’m obsessed with the back!

I often can’t get away with not wearing bra (that DD life…), but this dress was supportive enough to not wear one.

Old Town Pasadena is walking distance from the city hall, so after your visit, do some thrifting at Crossroads or 2nd Street (about a 10 minute walk away). Finish off your romantic day with some coffee from Coffee and Plants—a perfect place to show off your cute Solado dress this spring.

*I teamed up with Solado for this post, but as always, opinions are my own.
