Broke Fashion: What to Wear When You Don’t Know What Season It Is

We are definitely smack dab in the middle of an Indian Summer. If you have never experienced an Indian Summer before, it’s when the weather is abnormally warm and beautiful during November and December. Some people are freaking out about the abnormal warmth, but I like it! I think New York is sorry for being so mean to us for five years straight (heavy snow, tons of ice, extremely cold, and hurricanes) and wants to finally apologize.

In all honesty, we haven’t had a crisp, lovely fall in years. Summer transitioned into winter without a proper autumn for quite a few years. Today it was 63 degrees! Christmas is literally 10 days away and I was able to leave the house in only a sweater. How amazing is that? Unfortunately, it does still get a bit chilly as the sun sets, and some streets are windier than others so I’ve had to experiment with my wardrobe.

Below is the perfect outfit for this odd (but wonderful) weather:

Don’t you just love iced coffee in December?!

All I need to do is stuff my scarf into my bag when I’m too warm! If you live in the North East, how have you been handling the weather? Let us know in the comments below!

I’m loving the warmer weather too, especially since I know it’s too good to last! Perfect outfit post 🙂
