Wish List: Why Wireless Speakers Are All the Rage

Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s been in this situation before. You’ve got all of your friends over, and the evening is going splendidly. You could even say that it could have a fair chance of being pumping before the night is over! So you’re all sitting in the dining room chilling out after a lovely dinner party, but then everyone suddenly decides that it’s time to head outside for some of that excellent summer night air. Well, you’re as excited about this as anyone else – except for one tiny detail. You spent literally hours working out the best possible party playlist and curating a special blend of songs designed to caress your guests’ ears during dinner, and then motivate them to all get up and dance after dinner was over. Only problem is, you don’t have speakers outside. UGH. Party fail.

Well the last time that happened to me, I decided that it was going to be the last time that a party got away from me – so I invested in some wireless speakers and this has actually changed my life. And my parties – I don’t even have to tell you. I wanted to share with you why wireless speakers are the best thing to ever happen to me, and why you need to buy some like, yesterday.

Take the Party with You

Ok, this one is pretty self-explanatory given the story I just told you, but suffice to say, once you own wireless speakers, the party won’t start till you walk in. You’ll be able to make any social event an absolute pleasure with any possible choice of music. Think about it – dinner parties outside, barbecues… They’d all be made better with the addition of some tunes. I’ve even seen some inventive peeps with baskets on their bikes riding along with some tunes pumping – definitely better than riding with headphones in on your bike, and safer too.

Bathing Beauty

Taking a bath and listening to music or a great podcast is going to be a pleasure when you have wireless speakers. Not only do you not have to fanny around with a set of wired speakers or blast the sound super loud from your lounge room set so that you can hear the sound from the tub, but you’ll be able to splash them too – if you have a waterproof set, that is. Probably don’t try splashing the non-waterproof ones.

Park Parties

Going to the park is awesome. We all know that. Going to the park and chilling out in the sun with a barbecue and a bunch of mates is even better. Going to the park and chilling out with a bunch of mates and your favourite tunes is the BEST. Make sure that your speaker is all charged up and ready to go and you’re going to be set for the summer months. Your mates will love you, they’ll probably buy you ciders, and cute dogs will randomly bound up to you for pats and love. Probably.

Convenient 

Apart from all of the real-world applications that you can make for your speakers, the best part about owning a set of these beauties is that you don’t have to screw around with wires. Ever. That to me is worth the slightly extra price tag. Having wireless outdoor speaker units, whether they be very portable versions or just small enough to carry around easily, gives you a hassle-free setup.

The thing I hate about wired speakers is – you guessed it -wire.I hate when I move my speakers from the kitchen to the lounge room and the wires are all over the place… It’s just annoying.
